I know you are not the right person,but this affects your department directly,kindly raise this in your forums,some of us (i have seen a lot of complains in this platform) but here am writting on behalf of myself.
I Submitted Proposals over 6 months ago and so far,there is no responce or even aknowledgement of receipt??
I want to clear my course and this is holding me backwards.Do you think you can support in solving this???

You are at the right place. My apologies for the long waits and delayed response, including to your query.
To have a supervisor allocated, the requirement by most Departments is that you defend your concept at a Departmental level so that the panel looks at your area of interest and selects the best mentor in your area of research. Have you had an oral defense at your Department?
Please provide me with a little more details on your proposal, the concept itself, the Department and as well as where/who you sent it to so that we can attempt to resolve your lock down.
