Dear all,
Happy New Year.
I trust you are well and in good spirits.
Welcome to this session of the 2017/2018 academic year.
As a follow-up to deliberations and resolutions from the November 2017 Mid-Semester Meeting, the eCampus is keen to fast-track your progress towards completion of your Degree Program. We therefore start the year 2018 on a high note with our regular documentation process to enable us efficiently support your studies.
The Postgraduate training at Maseno University requires that all students submit progress reports every semester. Below is an excerpt from the SGS Rules and Regulations:
"Doctoral candidates (and Masters candidates who have completed course work) shall be required to consult their supervisor(s) at least once a month and to submit, every semester, a written progress report to the Dean, School of Graduate Studies through the Supervisors, the Chairman of the Department and the Dean of the School". [Source - SGS Rules and Regulations for Post Graduate Studies Document (Section 10, subsection 10.1, bullet number viii, page 13)]
Since you do not regularly enroll into semester sessions having completed your course work, we require that you complete the Research Report Form every three (3) Months, irrespective of whether progress is made or not.
Besides this being a requirement for you as a Postgraduate Student, the information will help us monitor your progress, identify when, where and why you stall, which will then enable us intervene where appropriate.
Click HERE to complete the Research Progress Form. Alternatively, log on to the postgraduate research support area and complete the questionnaire.
All the best in your studies.
Kind regards.
Dr. Bonuke Anyona.
