      Assessment in an Online Course

      This session will focus on tools you will use to assess learners in an Online Course. The scope of the course assessment will also include assessing learner participation in an online course with a view to motivate learners who are lagging behind.  

      Session Outcomes

      By the end of this session you will:

      1. Be able to set-up the submitted assignment tool and grading student submissions
      2. Be able to set-up a quiz and work on various Quiz Settings
      3. Be able to set-up graded discussion forums
      4. Assess learner participation in the online course and send notifications to learners who are not participating in online activities
      5. Set-up grade book settings and Download the grade book

      Tasks

      Watch the videos on setting up the assignment tool, Quiz, graded discussion and how to grade the submitted assignment and working on quiz settings. You are also going to be provided a video on grading student participation and finally how to set-up the grade book settings and download the grade book.
