Navigating the Learning Management System
Outcomes
By the end of this session, you will be able to log in to the LMS, Navigate the LMS homepage and Access the courses you are facilitation on the Course Homapage

Facilitating the Online Course
This session will focus on the course activities that you must undertake while teaching the online Course. The session will focus you on the beginning of semester tasks when preparing to teach the Online Course, set-up semester activities while facilitating your online course and end of semester tasks you need to undertake as you finalize with the online facilitation at the end of the course.

By the end of this session you will:
- Be able to set-up beginning of semester tasks for the courses you are teaching
- Be able to set-up semester activities while facilitating your online course
- Prepare for the end of semester activities in facilitating an online course

Assessment in an Online Course
This session will focus on tools you will use to assess learners in an Online Course. The scope of the course assessment will also include assessing learner participation in an online course with a view to motivate learners who are lagging behind.
Session Outcomes
By the end of this session you will:
- Be able to set-up the submitted assignment tool and grading student submissions
- Be able to set-up a quiz and work on various Quiz Settings
- Be able to set-up graded discussion forums
- Assess learner participation in the online course and send notifications to learners who are not participating in online activities
- Set-up grade book settings and Download the grade book
Tasks
Watch the videos on setting up the assignment tool, Quiz, graded discussion and how to grade the submitted assignment and working on quiz settings. You are also going to be provided a video on grading student participation and finally how to set-up the grade book settings and download the grade book.

Enhancing Interaction in the Online Course
This session will focus on strategies facilitators can use to enhance their online presence and influence learners to actively participate in the online courses.
Session Outcomes
By the end of this session you will:
- Discover approaches for enhancing learner-learner, learner-lecturer, and learner-content interaction while facilitating your online course
Tasks
Read through the provided literature on strategies for improving on online interaction and share the strategies you hope tp use when facilitating your online course.
