Welcome to all new students and to continuing students welcome back.
Happy new year! I suppose it is getting a bit late in the month for that but for those of us in eLearning this year is setting itself up to be something a bit special. The launch of eLearning in September last year was a real achievement and despite a number of teething difficulties students, lecturers and support staff came together to make the first semester a success. On the back of this initial success we have been able to welcome our second intake and try to refine the learning structures in place for students.
Feedback from the initial intake has been very useful and we will try to take on board the comments and issues raised but please bear with us as they may take some time to implement. We intend to work with you to make your learning experience with eLearning as productive as possible and look forward to more feed back soon both good and bad, so that we can keep improving.
I'm afraid there are bound to be difficulties along the way and we will be relying on you all to work with us to make the course as useful as possible for you. We have been made aware of a slight mix up with the desktop publishing course which will be opened again as soon as possible. We are grateful to the participants for bringing this to our attention.
