    • Introduction

Introduction to the Postgraduate Research Desk

Welcome to the eLearning Postgraduate Research Support Section.

May we first thank you for choosing Maseno University as your preferred Institution for higher education. Allow us to also congratulate you for the efforts you have put in your studies so far. You are on the right track to success.

The eLearning Postgraduate Research Support platform has been designed for you as a postgraduate student, and the aim is to support you at all levels of your studies. As such, this area will link you to fellow graduate students in all Schools and Departments within Maseno University eCampus. That would allow you to share and discuss your coursework and research experiences with other participants (peer researchers).

Specifically, given the challenges we all face at various levels of our studies, such as formulating research/study/project concepts, study/ questionnaire designs, study methodologies, data collection strategies, data analyses and interpretations as well as write-ups, sharing our own experiences and expertise is the only sure way to unlock our potential, improve our skills and accelerate the pace of our studies. Your discussions are accessible to all online participants, facilitators and lecturers and they are free to comment on them.

The role of the Coordinator in charge of Research, Monitoring and Evaluation (RM&E) at eCampus is to coordinate all your activities as Graduate students on the eLearning platform. We hope that you shall be able to access information and resources you may need for your studies. We endeavor to offer support to individualized challenges such as those listed above.

We hope that this will be a source of motivation especially when you get to meet all online participants. Welcome aboard and all the best in your studies.
